OK so Im a Cav Scout obviously not an easy job however; I was wondering who has the easiest job and what do you do? Were wondering this because everybody in the Army gets paid based on rank and somebody who does nothing gets paid the same as me who work 20 hours a day sometimes not even getting off work. Crazy Army lol

88M. I am one. I hate it because of how stupid it is. The extent of my job is push D(rive) and try to not run too much over. Ok. that's an exaggeration, but not by much. I can't wait to reclass this fall when my window finally opens. But I knew coming in what a waste it was gonna be. I needed a job. It offered 40k and Airborne. And now that I qualify for bigger better stuff, I can't wait to do something better with my career.

As for the cook comment, it would depend on your unit. Our Batt is in charge of the DFAC and our cooks are in at 3 am, work long hours, and every weekend. Some people enjoy being a cook. But some enjoy being 88M. It's not a bad job. Just not for me.

All jobs in the army are hard in their own way. The jobs that are most commonly regarded as being easy are Cooks or 88M. However, there are risks to all, especially with deployment, which obviously you know so I'm preaching to the choir here. My boyfriend is a combat engineer and while he is stateside he works on the Bradleys and messes around in the motorpool all day, but while deployed its a different story. So it really just depends on what sort of ease you're looking for!

Like everyone else says, try taking it again to receive a higher score. Don't worry about it being so low. I have seen worse. Just neext time study more and the questions you don't know answers to mark the answer as c. Dat always seem to work. You want to raise it so that your job options are better. Right now they would probably give u a job as a truck driver or mechanic. As for "easy" job. The only easy job is one that you enjoy which is also why you wanna raise your score. Don't let them hand you a job. Pick something you really like. Besides you might not even get to do your "job". Its whatever the military needs you to be.

You can't really get an easy job in the Army. You may get a job that's EASIER than others but it may still be a challenge. With a 32, you won't be offered much (really depends on your line scores) but you may be surprised. We put in one person in who got exactly a 31 and she got 92Y, or supply clerk. I know half of the people answering are telling you to study and take it again but technically retesting just to get a higher score when you already passed isn't authorized according to AR 601-210, Chapter 5-8h: h. Recruiters are not authorized to have applicants retested for the sole purpose of increasing aptitude area scores to meet standards prescribed for enlistment options or programs. Some people retest anyway but they aren't supposed to. Prior to the regulation being pointed out to us, we sent one person who got a 40 to retest (his mom demanded that we let him retest) and when he took it the second time he got a 28, disqualifying him from enlistment. What you can do is enter the Army now and after you get to your first duty station take classes to increase your ASVAB before you take it again. At that point, failing won't cause you to get kicked out but if you get a higher score you can change your job at reenlistment if you're not satisfied with the job you currently have. ADDED: All of you can thumb me down all you want but thumbs down aren't going to change the regulation and I'm still going to sleep well tonight.

no job in the army is easy if your enlisted e-5 and below because the only time you really do your job is in the field if you lucky. 90 percent of the time you on details(racking leaves, cleaning bathrooms) , police calls( picking up trash), formations like award ceremonies, and Change of command

I would personally say Cook because there is no risk. It does however, depend on your abilities. I found infantry fairly easy because skill with a rifle is a necessity, but some may find engineering easy because they are highly qualified for it.

(EDIT)

You do realize sitting behind a desk is hard as hell right?

To be honest there really isn't any easy job in the military. Its all about personal preference. One may find a specific job hard, and one may find it no hassle at all
