If ww3 were to break out, who do you think would be the allies & axis? i think it would be something like this

Allies:
.USA
.UK
.Nato
.Israel
.Canada
.Australia
.New Zealand
.India (possibly)
.Japan
.South korea

Axis:
. Russia
. China
. north korea
. Syria
. Lebanon
. Iraq
. Iran
. Egypt

your thoughts?

I don't think there is much chance of another world war breaking out anytime soon, so I think trying to predict the sides of such a conflict using current international relationships is a bit foolish.



I think the main reason there won't be a world war is because the powerful nations are making too much money off of each other through trade. Whatever triggers World War 3 would need to be major enough for those countries to want to throw away that income for the sake of blood shed and potential ruin.

As they will not be any World War 3 anytime in the near future no need to worry. But for purposes of fiction only a alliance between Europe the USA etc is a good bet I would not put Egypt in the enemy camp.

There would be no such war.



If you look at recent operations you will see there has been more or less a single foe and a coalition of forces opted to take them on.

Your "Axis" is too mishmash to be believable. The world doesn't revolve around the West as much as you think it does, and the fact that all of the countries on that list are opposed to the West in some way and to some degree is more of a "well, DUH" thing that doesn't stand in the way of their — of our — often complicated relationships, or just not having much in common.
