Question:
If I were to join the National Guard to pay for the rest of college could I go to USMC OSC after I graduate?

I have been going to college for a few years now. Recently I have dropped out because of bad grades and insufficient funds. I have been considering a career in the military for a while now, and becoming a Commissioned Officer for the USMC is my dream goal. My question is as stated above: If I were to join the National Guard to pay for the rest of my college (which I have about 2 to 3 years left) and earn a BA, would i be able to get out or transfer out of the NG to go to the USMC OSC? Or would I have to finish my time in the NG to even consider it?
My buddy said that one of our (somewhat) mutual friends had done this, but I believe he had been in ROTC and there was a little different circumstances.

Another thing that I would like to know: Does the USMC have a program that if i were to enlist could I go to college while serving, then finish my degree, go to OCS and become an Officer that way?

Go talk to a Marine recruiter and get on the ROTC program, They pay and you owe time obligation. If you fail out or quit you either pay back the money or you become enlisted and finish out your time most of the time 6 years.

1. The National guard does NOT pay for college,

The will help, they will pay up to $7,500 per year.

2. You just said you dropped out for bad grades

People with bad grades in college, do NOT get commissioned in the military.

3. No there is no program, where you enlist, then go to college.,

You enlist, service your 4 year enlistment, then you can go to college on the Gi Bill
