I am pretty sure it is not gonna fly if you joined the peace corps AND THEN joined the Navy. I don't know what the article or offical policy is but I do remember being asked if I was a member of the peace corps. At the very least, it will be hard to get a clearance for obvious reasons.

yes, so long as you stay in shape and stay out of credit and legal trouble the navy will take you and you will become an officer.
You could also get a science related officer slot, but be warned that these positions are highly selective and normally require a masters degree.
edit
the peace corps is not going to prevent you from getting a security clearence - lol
military reservists can even defer contract time to go on a peace corps mission. Just make sure to keep contact information on those you worked with overseas because you will need it for the clearence.

Naval recruiters are everywhere. The fact that you were in the peace corps might hurt you but I don't know the official rules. Your degree looks good and would get anyone into an officer program; also advanced promotion is available to anyone with 60 hours of college credits or more... But anyway 24 isn't a factor.. Like I said, don't ask yahoo ask Ssgt. Navy at your nearest recruitment office, he can let you know... Find a recruiter near you at... http://www.navy.com/findarecruiter/

Yes you would. But help me understand:
Why do you need Peace Corps? If you have a college degree why not just go straight to OCS if that's your goal?
Good luck!

Nope,
Peace Corps will prevent you from receiving a Top Secret SBI security clearance.
