You get issued a camelbak in Army BCT. You will wear it through out the day. HOWEVER, you can not wear it during PT. If your mouth gets dry when you run, then you are not properly hydrated.

You will be issued a canteen which you will put on one shoulder and you will be told to drink from it about every hour. I have never seen a camel back on someone's back when in PT's no matter what the others say. Yes you will be issued a camel back, but unless every soldier is ordered to wear it...everyone dress right dress...than I doubt you will use it unless you are running on your own time.

Scott is correct.

You can try putting a piece of gum between your teeth and lower lip, like chewing tobacco. That will cause you to salivate more heavily and allow you to have liquid in your mouth. Beyond that you need to start practicing running without the bag. Get used to doing it the military way, and you will be ready once you get there!

No. No personal belongings in boot camp. They'll give you what you need.

Your dehydrated.

The first thing drill instructors make you do in basic is "DRINK WATER!!!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU GOTTA PEE!!! DRINK 'TILL I TELL YOU YOU CAN STOP!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME RECRUIT!?!"

"YES DRILL SARGENT! "
