I thought the US/UK invasion was to liberate Iraqis from an evil Saddam who used to bomb the Kurds.

Now USA is in charge - it seems Turkey bombs the Kurds

The Turks hate the Kurds. The Kurds believe some of their land encroaches on the Middle East and Turkey; they are a people without a real homeland. However, Saddam and the Turks do not see it the same way and so have been attacking these people for years. Because of the Turks killing Kurds, they are still not allowed to join the EU. So even though Saddam has been dposed, the Turks will continue with their own type of ethnic cleansing.

truthfully Turkey bombed Kurdish terrorists, there's a distinction there. And the U. S. place in Iraq remains much extra effectual then it grew to become into till now the surge or the bombings on the PPK.

The Kurds want their own country in Northern Iraq which will include parts of Turkey. Iraq, Turkey, and the US are against a Kurdish homeland. Turkey has even accused Kurds of terrorist operations within the Turkey/Iraq border area.

Turkey and Kurdistan have their own conflict.Turkey's treatment of its citizens of Kurdish ethnicity has been a frequent subject of international criticism.[1] Since 1930s, Kurds have resisted the forcible assimilation and Turkification policies of the Turkey's government. Since 1984, these resistance movements included both peaceful political activities for basic civil rights for Kurds within Turkey and also a violent armed rebellion for a separate Kurdistan state.[2]

The PKK are like te equivalent of the IRA were to the UK, carrying out bombings in mainland Turkey. They have been flexing there muscles since they were aided but the UK and US in making them safe in Northern Iraq I.e. bordering Turkey. They are now trying to stake claim to parts of Eastern Turkey and understandably Turkey are not happy with that, In these circumstances the US and UK will not get involved in this dispute.

The Turkish government are trying to show their people that they are doing something about incursions into their territory by the PKK who are Kurdish terrorists that the Turks say are based in Northern Iraq.It is claimed that 38,000 people have died due to acts by the PKK.That's why but it is hard to sort out fact from propaganda even for people like me who live in Turkey.

the turks are bombing the kurds because the kurds are living in both iraq and turkey because they weren't given a country to live in after world war 1 and the turks don't like the kurds.

Saddam used WMDs against the Kurds in 1987.

We took Saddam out in 2003...16 years later...who told you that's the reason we invaded???

These 2 events occurred SIXTEEN YEARS APART...

YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY CLAIM THAT THE LATTER EVENT OCCURRED BECAUSE OF THE FIRST.

P.S.

Just stating indisputable facts here...a thumbs down won't change the facts!!!

Well the kurds are after what they see has their land which is in Turkey...Iraq...Iran and Syria.....Saddam Hussein gassed the Kurds for wanting Their land in northern Iraq, and they are being bombed by Turkey for wanting their land in Turkey, but it is funny how, there is not the same action against Turkey which happened to Iraq, and Saddam Hussein......

Because they see them as terrorists, the US are having to walk a tight rope because they try and keep both of them 'onside'.
