I just read that doing RDC would be like 120 hours a week or somthing crazy like that. I just want to know how many hours each job requires.

RDC was the most rewarding duty of my career, but for my family, it might have well been sea duty. I was out the door before they got up, home after everyone was asleep. I missed birthdays, sports, and concerts during the "push". Later in the training cycle things ease up a little. Once he pushes 4-5 divisions, he'll go on a hold job for about a year. During that time, shorter, more regular hours. Then it's back for another round.

I never did recruiting, but my neighbor is a recruiter and he's never home.

I think recruiting is better as far as the hours goes, but RDC is better and more respectful than being a Recruiter. It's all about the numbers game in recruiting, and I've heard way too many people tricked people into joining the service, it's sad.

both require a LOT of hours. RDC is quite possibly that many hours a week, they have to be with their Recruits pretty much all day from Reville to Taps.

and the only job that requires as much effort is Recruiter.

loooomng days, no weekends off( that's the best time to recruit).

well, he'll sometimes have to be there early 5am and won't be able to leave till sometimes 10pm. then there will be times when he won't have to come in till 7 or 8 am. he will be putting in long hours when pushing boots. usually for 3 months, then hell be doing whatever duty he needs to help fill till the next company comes in.(RDC). recruiting, all depends on making the quota. and visiting new prospects, could be a 9 to 5 or maybe a 7- 7pm,
