I am intrested in trying out for Special Forces. My problem is that I am deployed, and there are no SF recruiters around. The S.F. website hasnt been updated in a year. I was wondering if anyone knew information that could help me find a new website, or a recent e-mail address to a SF recruiter. Thanks.

You can use the regular go.army site here. It works. Trust me. Recruiters are recruiters:

or if you want you can write these dudes:

neither is really better than the other. they both receive relentless training that an average man cannot do in all of these aspects. and also it depends entirely on the individual. say there's a a Navy SEAL who just barely made it in and a SF Soldier who gave his all on every twist and turn or vice versa. who do you think would be better? although, the SEALS receive their training for a longer period of time and go through that same training multiple times. so if its added training you're looking for, go for the SEALs. but you need to be ready. as for benefits, it is rare that you see an operator who is what he is for benefits, but if you need to know. every military branch receives the same benefits Veterans affairs, yellow ribbons, and GI Bills etc. both receive the same technological assistance, personally Id have to say that they are about equal in air and land training, even if SF receives more land training, when it comes to water, that's a given to the SEALs. it is impossible to determine how often which team will be deployed while serving. both are trained on both sides of interrogation, as the interrogator AND interrogated. and receive equal training in that, after all if you're in any Spec Ops team, you must have training in this, no one wants you to spill anything in interrogation and all teams no matter the branch WILL make you resistant, believe me. more offered schools will definitely be army (Special Forces). both teams are equal in versatility, they need to be, and if you aren't your instructors will make you. who is tougher to get into is dependant on who the person is that is deciding Between the 2, what are you good and and what are you not good at. and both have the same roles in duty. such as CT, CA, DA, Recon, etc. and, not to be rude but you are wrong on that last part.. both have specific duties in their team. and both teams are trained in all roles, but one member will be trained in his specific role. and to be honest. this is a bit of an ignorant question.
