i have a 2.0 gpa a fisrt class pft and a 78 on my asvab. do i have a chance on getting in to marine osc.?

no. minimum GPA to apply is a 2.5.. and you won't get selected with anything Under a 3.5.

2.0 is the lowest acceptable GPA for a college graduate. Your asvab doesn't matter once you graduate from college.



As long as your college GPA and criminal record are acceptable and you pass you PFT you're good to go. The rest is up to your OSO. If he passes you, you're fine. If he says you should do it it's because he knows you're good to go and believes you can get through OCS and TBS.

You have a chance just like anyone else, but it might not be as strong as other people's chances. I'd say go to college for the military. It's beginning to become a new standard because of the amounts of technology that they use these days. College will become necessary in the future, so be proactive, go to college and be ahead of some of your peers and even ahead of the future new guys.

2.0 is pretty much the minimum. You should be fine. By the way, it's OCS (Officer Candidate School)
