Question:
supposed the USA (on moral grounds) decide to conquer the world?
2008-09-03 20:06:37 UTC
how can we achieve such a feat realistically.
suppose the world fell under the power of a One government and USA was the only state that did not succumb to its authority?how do we launch a defensive offense before the world attacks us?
we need to have huge resources so canada and mexico must be conquered immediately, right?
in asia, what strategic location must we acquire to halt/delay the counter-invasions?
how to deal with russia and europe abnd in asia china ,japan, korea and australia?
what will we do with the horde of foreigners in the USA who we suspect of supporting the efforts of the rest of the world?
and how can we restore the world in order after it.
Non-nuke scenario. US and rest of the world not allowed to use nukes... only conventional weapons
tnx

I can not believe I'm actually taking the time to answer this but here goes. Number one this "one government power" you speak of will most likely involve direct affiliation with the U.N. U.N. stands for United Nations. The majority of the world is affiliated with the U.N., when affiliated with the U.N. along with paper affiliation your government, economy, and it's soldiers are under U.N. influence. Meaning, if there were a problem with a country that is not affiliated with the U.N the nations affiliated with the U.N. would be involved, economically and militarily. The U.S. is one of the countries that has heavy influence in the U.N., so the reality is, if a problem were to occur with a country or a group of people un-afiliated with the U.N. the U.N and it's affiliates would take the necessary measures to weaken or cripple that opposing power. If there is a new "world war" the U.S. and other U.N. affiliates would all be involved. In terms of whose right and who is wrong, I will leave that to t.v. and corrupt politicians (all over the world) to lie to us about.

Is the rest of the world supportive of this regime, or is it being supported through force? If it is the latter we can cause widespread resistances around the world and take it piecemeal while they are defending against resistances all over the world. If it was supported by all the people around the world, then we would be pretty screwed on an offensive front. Only way I know of that would even have a glimmer of hope would be something that would make the rape of nanking look like humanitarian aid, thus goodbye moral grounds =(.

Man you like asking questions about America vs the world LOL.

Without Nukes and maybe with Europe on our side then the USA might be able to pull it off. It would be tough controlling the rest of the world though(look at Iraq). It would cost a ton though and a lot of people would die.

America would lose and fast. The rest of the world would simply cut off oil

supply. Then it would target the factory's that supply ammunition and armaments. Then take out the power stations for electricity leaving America in the dark.maybe not in that order. The sheer number of soldiers from every country would swamp any Resistance from America.I don't mean to burst your bubble buddy, but there would be no chance

of winning.LOL

Invite foreign leaders to a "Peace Conferenceā€ and when they get there blow it up. Without Leaders we could roll over the rest of the world.

We do own the world, the rest just rent it.
