Question:
Turkish F-16's vs Syrian Mig-25's?

BACKGROUND INFO:
Based on recent events, it appears that the Turkish - Syrian tension is getting worse. Turkish F-16's keep on intercepting Syrian planes. It all started when Syrian SAM's shot down a Turkish RF-4E terminator over the Mediterranean in international airspace in 2012. Ever since Turkey changed its rules of engagement towards Syrian and have jumped on the opportunity to shoot down Syrian Aircraft . Up to this date the Turkish Air Force has shot down a MI-17 attack helicopter and a Mig-23 fighter bomber and Syria in response has made its Mig-25 fleet operational again and appointed them with flying escort for Su-24's and Mig-23's bombing rebel positions near the Turkish border. Turkish F-16's have intercepted 3 Su-24's and 3 Mig-25's but hasn't shot them down because they didn't intrude Turkish air space.
MY QUESTION:
So if Turkish F-16C's and F-16D's block 50+ lets say 2- F-16C's, - 2 F-16D's block 50 of the Turkish Air Force had to fend off 2- Mig 25P's and 2- Mig-25PD's in a 2 vs 2 in a dogfight (seeing this may be possible in the near future) who would win. What would happen. Assuming that the Turkish pilots are more skilled. Could the cold war monster jets win? or the state of the art F-16's in the hands of skilled and experienced Turkish pilots prove dominant in this show down. Can somebody with some Air Force experience and/or aircraft knowledge answer that'l be great, thanks.

The winner in all dogfights is determined by the pilot and luck.

As for the pros to each aircraft-

The MiG-25 can fly faster and higher than an F-16 mach 2 vs mach 3 and 90,000 ft vs 50,000 ft.

the MiG-25 is a bit of a led sled when it comes to turning.

I'm not sure how up to date the avionics are on a syrian MiG-25

but if a MiG-25 pilot can keep his speed up and altitude up and fire a pair of R-40T heat seeking missiles bvr- he would take the F-16 easily.

If he has to drop his speed and altitude- to keep a lock on the F-16

and thus enters the F-16's flight envelope.

The F-16 would fly rings around him and have little problems hitting the MiG-25 with an AMRAAM.

The MiG-25 was designed lob missiles at Mach 3.

The design was built with the intent of catching the SR-71 something it was to slow to do. However the Russians still expected it to engage in hit and run attacks against other aircraft.

the MiG-25 started being retired in Russian service in the 1980's and replaces with the MiG-31 which is kinda like an MiG-25 upgraded with an F-14's radar and phoenix missiles. the MiG you would want to go up against an F-16 in would be a MiG-29. those two planes are a really close match.

The MiG 25 was essentially designed to shoot down the B 70. It's OK at a quick bounce and run, but otherwise, it's a pig. If you're thinking in terms of "knights of the sky" battling it out in their Fokker D III's and SPAD S.VII's, the F-16 is a much more capable aircraft, but nobody says the Syrian pilots have to be fools. MiG 25's have been known to shoot and scoot, running from F-15's to fly another day. The whole thing depends on mission parameters, and your idea of a classic dogfight would never enter their minds.
