im trying to figure out what the family prefix number is for military dependents in the air force?

20 is the sponsor (active duty member or retiree--some cases civilian employee)

30 is for the first wife/husband.

31-39 are for all the other marrages. (after a divorce of course)



01 is the first child

02 second child

03 third child (get it goes up to 09)



All military branches use the same prefix.

Talk about a tearjerker!!! That was a touching story I thank you for posting it now I am going to forward it to all emails. Finally a good story!!! My husband said the best line ever to our 8 year old son. He is deploying to Iraq on August 1st and my son said "Dad are you going to war to kill bad guys and my husband responded no I am going to help the good guys. I seen a lightbulb go off in my sons head. Thank you again!!!
