I have two schools of thought on this one. The first one is that I should forsake my life and just evangelize, that is, tell others about God. If I die then I die; If I live then I live. I know many people don’t believe in the Bible but this is my belief: that once the end times come, the time for salvation will be critical. I want to save as many souls as possible for Jesus and the kingdom of heaven.

But aside from that, my second option is to be prepared: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Before the catastrophe, in the physical and mental realm, I will make the necessary preparations. This includes:
1) Learning to be self-sufficient. Example: Know how to grow food, life skills, maintenance of house, cars, etc, survival skills, firearms, self-defense.
2) Investing: Being watchful of the signs of the times, investing in index funds and precious metals, diversifying which includes keeping things of value at home, saving money.
3) Stockpiling necessary supplies such as food, water, medicines, emergency appliances, flashlights, etc.
4) Educating my family about the art of survival, where to go, and how.
5) Networking with the community, close friends, and neighbors on emergency procedures and forming alliances?
6) Education: Knowing what to do in case of various disasters such as nuclear, bio, and chemical attack, chaos in the streets, riots, extreme weather, etc and for my family as well. Having a plan.
Spiritually, I will continue to have a close relationship with God. I will continue to read His Word and live by wisdom. I will continue to love everyone and be kind. I will continue to help others and to give to those in need to the best of my ability.
With that said, once the apocalypse comes, I will probably just camp at my residence if it is safe enough and wait it out in the basement (probably). If the government or military orders us to relocate, I will pray to know their intentions and act accordingly.
As with people, if there are stragglers, I will do the best I can, with the means I have, to help. Once I reach my limit, I have two possibilities: One, reject nobody and if I die my family dies, then be with God. In the meantime, evangelize to those under my care but if they refuse, then accept them as they are and still love them. Two: Politely tell those over my quota that I cannot help them. If possible, give them some basic surplus supplies.
If they refuse to leave, I may use force. If looters or violent people come, I have two options. If I hold the advantage, I will have them leave but say a prayer. If I am at a disadvantage, then allow them to come in and serve them and be humble. If the hurt me or my family, then we just have to endure and do our best to love them.
If something horrible happens to my family then I’ll just seek my solace and justice in God.
I have to cover the social areas because these things are likely to happen to anyone. But I will prepare and not let go of my beliefs.
