How do we know we are not being brainwashed by the "support our troops"?

I was thinking that people normally don't kill others for fun, and a military is an organization that specialize in killing. Even Nazis, weren't born to hate it was learn and Hitlers army was following orders. But to them they believed they were getting the enemy, just like we do. With that said how do we know that we are NOT 'bad' guys when we go to war? Anytime you support our troops" no matter what" then you are more likely to be deceive, whether the threat is real or not, we will blindly support it, or be labeled unpatriotic.

First off the military doesn't decide to go to war or not. It is the decision of the President of the United States to send our troops to be in harms way. There is so much coverage of something of this nature it would be nearly impossible to unknowingly be brain washed.

Well then you'd be thinking wrong. ISIS, Boko Haram, and countless others have killed for pure pleasure of it. I don't claim to justify every war that has ever been fought, but if you really believe the groups that are raping and pillaging and slaughtering innocent people are better than we are, you need to get your head checked.

The military defends the country, they do not specialise in Killing when it is not needed. AS for Hitlers Army and the hate you say they had is no way true. They were just ordinary men drafted into the military. All the murder and hate came and murder came from Hitlers SS divisions
