Can a gay person be outed in the military? Are gay people made to leave the military if they are gay.............Does this mean that they must declare they are gay to be expelled or could someone out them? Do you guys think this policy is good? I know of someone in the military that calls himself "bisexual" and tells me he has oral sex with military men........Isn't that against the policy? Couldn't he get kicked out for that?

It is an example of the "Clinton leadership". It means that, when the Clintons lie, dont ask them and they will tell you things like:

"He did not have sex with Monica Lewinski" ...well, not until she came up with the dress with his DNA on it, and then it was...well..it was not sex as he defines sex..it was just..well..er...anyone want to contribute to Bill Clintons legal defense fund because there are so many women who are suing him just because he did not have sex with them either..or well, not as he defines sex..er..ask Hillary she..well no dont ask her she didnt ask so he didnt tell her either.

Unfortunately, the military has not accepted the concept of homosexuality in its ranks. It is illegal for a member of the military to speak, act, or imply homosexual acts during his or her time in service. "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy stems from if you are not asked (which they cannot ask you) then you will not tell (you aren't required to). However, acts of homosexuality, bisexuality, and unorthodox acts of heterosexual behavior (i.e anything not missionary) are all grounds for at least an Article 15, or a court-marshall which can produce punishments as severe as "dishonorable discharge" (military & civilian career ender). If you are trying to decide what to do... and you choose to "out" him to his commander... you will need to contact his commander and provide evidence this behavior... OR you can report him to "CID"
Think bout it

Don't ask don't tell ... like what you just said "I know of someone in the military that calls himself "bisexual" and tells me he has oral sex with military men........Isn't that against the policy?"

as long as he doesn't tell them he's gay and admits he's gay.. he won't get kicked out of the military, but if you get caught doing homosexual activities, that's like saying you are gay, they can keep asking but if you "DON'T TELL Em your gay" then your safe:)i hope you get what im talking bout.... HOOAH ARMY!

Yes, he could get kicked out for that but he would have to admit to his command his actions. Don't ask don't tell is exactly what it says. Any soldier that ask are you gay, you don't have to give them an answer. Simple as that. But in some cases it is a way out the army if your trying to find a way out cause the military wasn't what he/or she expected it to be.

Its a policy that needs to be abolished immediately. We have openly gay people at my unit, and no one gives a crap. If your Commanding Officer is a homophobic dick, then he will process him/her to be discharged. When I was a bootcamp a girl told our drill instructor she was a lesbian because she wanted to go home. It worked.

Realistically? "howdy Sergeant, i think of inner maximum Joe is gay..." "What replaced into that? i could no longer hear you over the sound of you having to flow %. up all the trash on the line." *a million trash pickup later* "howdy Sergeant, as i replaced into saying i think of inner maximum Joe is gay. I observed him with this guy and..." "What replaced into that? i could no longer hear you over the sound of you having to flow sweep and mop the floor interior the convention room and auditorium." *a million sweep and mop later* "howdy Sergeant, i think of inner maximum Joe..." *Sergeant holds up toothbrush and factors to the bathing room, waiting for something of the sentence.* "Uh... Nevermind Sergeant." the actual coverage is "do no longer ask, do no longer tell, and in case you detect out... you probably did no longer." you will get in 'unofficial' worry for paying for somebody else in worry, to the factor the place accusing somebody else of being gay can get you a piece of writing 117 punishment (upsetting speech and gestures). whether it later seems to be real... you nevertheless get in worry. Homosexuality isn't something yet issues for the management. the least confusing answer is "Homosexuality does not exist." merely flat out deny it exists and that's not a situation. those situations interior the media of "i replaced into outed and discharged, enable me honorably serve my united states of america!" do no longer bypass the scent try. No unit needs to 'out' somebody, because of the fact the technique of discharging somebody from the armed forces is like being constipated. you do no longer comprehend precisely how long it's going to take, yet you're caught with the turd for the foreseeable destiny and that's going to worsen earlier it gets greater constructive. you merely save it below-wraps and enable them to flow directly to their next unit. squaddies spreading gossip that a definite soldier is gay get slammed as no longer elementary as bodily a risk by using the management.
