Right now im following the BUD/S warning order and im on week 6 about to get into the second phase of it and just wondering if this is the best thing i can be doing, i understand that stew smith acually wrote the warning order, but would buying his woorkout book be a better idea?

So far it sounds you're doing everything right, one SEAL told me that if you do everything in the warning order and follow it TO THE LETTER, you will have everything you need to accomplish the physical aspect of BUD/S training. The guys I knew who bought the stew smith book just wanted something more intense and high speed that gave faster results. But I've recieved the same results with just following the warning order. So I'd say you're on a good route, just remember that after you finish the warning order, to maybe do it over again but this time push yourself to maximum capability, because that's what instructors will do at BUD/S. Good luck.

run 10 miles a day, do 6 sets of 50 push up a day, do 7 sets of 100 sit ups day. Find a lake and swim 5 miles a day and in a 15 foot pool for one hour a day do dive and recovery exercises with 15 pound objects. Do all of this with a buddy. Now you have about a 50% cChance of succeeding... I wish you the best

Yes buying his workout book is a good idea...

But Running everywhere you go is a better idea...

lets say 30 miles a day uphill...learning to swim 25 miles

in open seas in next to ice water underwater is better...

also learning how to parachute from 30,000 ft might help...

Oh and you can place those books in that 90# pack that

you carry every where...

Plus I think you have to get a clearance from a Doctor

saying your not "NUTS"...

Just be aware of the fact that "IF" you make it to BUDS...

You will never think it was enough training...ever !!!!

Neck stretches, gets you neck flexable, and flipper stretches.

Both enable you to catch more fish.

A well fed seal is a happy seal.
