Well i been reading other yahoo answers questions about joining the airforce...such as:that they travel around the world

Well traveling around the world would really nice to experience.

But i have a question

Which airforce jobs make traveling around the world possible?

What are the possibilitys of having the oppurtunity traveling around?

What jobs allow you to travel in europe(france, italy, spain) and east asia (japan, korea) and not in the middle east were the war is.

First of all, in today's current environment it is pretty difficult to have a job in the air force that involves travel that doesn't involve travel or duty in the middle east. That said, the job that will give you the most travel (on duty) would be a loadmaster. If there is cargo being flown anywhere, you get to go with it. If the plane breaks, you get stuck with it. Those folks go most places the average air force person will never see. They also do a lot of humanitarian missions to places where we have no bases so you will see a lot. Another few jobs that will get you traveling is aeromedical, boom operator (tankers) or defense courier. However, like the others have mentioned, once you get established there are plenty of opportunities for off duty travel to all corners of the globe. That is one of the perks of being n the military.

We holiday in the Mayan Riviera each year, and each year we run into men and women that claim to be in the US Marines, and other US services that are on pass. I think part of the problem, is because the US, and Mexico are working together to stop the drug cartels on the boarder between the two, they don't want to put anyone in jeopardy Cancun is over a thousand miles away from the drug wars. As GulfportBob said, have your fiance check with his unit personnel or CO just to be on the safe side.

Honestly I don't know of any jobs that just let you "travel" around the world. Most of the time you get stationed somewhere for a few years. I know if you get stationed in Europe that it's easy to just catch a train to neighboring countries and visit on your days off.

Payloaders do a lot of flying, and I would think any other jobs that require you to fly on the planes. But even then it's not like you're out touring the towns. You're working.

But for most new airmen they don't have many bills and they live in the dorms which gives them some extra cash to spend of travel. Not to mentions Hops which are free or cost next to nothing (not sure which). My friend did a few hops and met some really cool people.

Any job you have the opportunity to travel abroad. We choose to stay stateside so we have been many places. The best part is no matter where they send you they also pay you enough to survive there. A couple jobs that I would recommend not doing are anything on the flightline and anything police. Those are the worst careers in the military, Good Luck!
