I am currently in year 12 and since I was 16 years old I've wanted to attempt the SAS selection course and join the army, but because I am slightly color blind I am only allowed jobs such as steward, cook, musician and operator supply......are there any points or information on what I should do??

I'm stuck and it's what I was really hoping in doing? Are there any other ways of getting into the SAS with my color blindness even though if you put all the Colours in front if me I could see them......

Could I go through the police or through the ASIO or ASIS?? Do they give special waivers??

Thanks

Unless you've been medically diagnosed, you ought to be fine, if its anything like the American Army. You said you can see the colors, just let the vision test happen, and be done with it.

Colour blindness only affects red and green, have you been medically diagnosed with this condition?? Wait and do the army medical first
