no. AIT is a training command and has nothin g two do with deployments.
furthermore it is unlikely your NG unit will grant permission anyway. they want to get some use out of you first.
Long gone are the days where individuals could volunteer to augment another unit deploying that was short on manpower.

Deployment works a little different for the Army and national guard than for some of your other services like the Air Force and USAFR. They largely follow the hard unit concept which means that units that train together deploy together. Only when there is a short fall among a unit deploying is that then filled by someone else who has either volunteered or is tasked to deploy for filling that vacant slot.
Besides this you will also have to acquire enough experience at your job and reach the needed job skill level in that before you are actually eligible to deploy. That could take up to two years once you complete AIT. Volunteering for deployment to fill a vacant slot will among other things also require your commander's approval since that takes you away from them for about 14-15 months and you being there with them to do your job. That get's balanced against the need for that slot being filled and also the experience you gain from being deployed and doing your job under those types of conditions and then returning to your unit with that experience then under your belt.
When you get back to your unit sit down and talk with your top sergeant or your UDM (unit deployment manager) and they will give you the general lay of the land and how things shape up for you deploying with or without your unit and also if you unit is already scheduled for deployment anytime soon.

During AIT? no chance at all.
However you can try and request it once your done with AIT and at your unit. But you'll need to finish training before doing so.

AIT trains you and returns you to your NG unit. The time to request deployment is when you return to your unit. They are the only authority who can deploy you.

You can’t, period. AIT has no control over you and deployment or anything else. You need to report back to your NG Unit. It is more likely to be called up in your state than anything else.

How can you deploy before you are trained?
