I do still have 3 years left of high school but I sort of know what I want to do.
what I want to know is what military branch would be right for me.

I ve always wanted to be in some sort of medical field. I would love to be out on the field helping wounded soldiers and saving lives. but I don t know what branch would allow me to do this and if I would have to attend college before I was able to accomplish this goal.
I also wouldn t mind battle. I just want to help serve my country and do something meaningful with life. any advice will help!!

If that's what you want to do then you really only have 2 choices. The Army or the Navy. The Marine Corps does not have any medical personnel whatsoever. The medics the Marine Corps has are Navy corpsmen. The Air Force has medics, but they don't really do what you describe. Unless you're a PJ. For me that would be an easy choice. I would be miserable if I ended up stuck on a ship. But, you might like ships so...... Of course both in the Army and the Navy you could end up in a non-combat unit where you wouldn't be out in the "field taking care of soldiers". You'd just be further up the casualty chain somewhere. Or a medic on a ship. But at least you'd have the option of it there.

The best bet for that would be the Army 68W which functions as a combat medic. You will NOT be just a medic, you will be a medical assistant (basically) working in clinics, hospitals, support units, MEPS, absolutely anywhere the army sends you.

The army, that is where the most people get injured nowadays, so that's obviously where the most medics are needed. Also talk this over with your parents and family.

militia...fight for We the People, not Trans National Interests and the 1%..you take an oath to the constitution, not big money. so many soldiers are disobeying oath on a daily, especially the high brass....
