Considering both play for the Israeli team instead of the American one the answer is neither if you are going to be sent to war for another mans profit, let alone another nations.

Aside from that, both are trully double edged swords. Obama is a wildcard and will most likely leave it up to advisors, letting them take the fall if things go bad. He does not seem fully informed on his own. On the other hand he seems clever enough to learn from mistakes.

McCain is a war hero yet continues to make wrong choices and stick to faulty logic. He has not learned anything from Vietnam and has a fundamental misunderstanding of history. Blind leading the blind with him. According to his view: "When the war is won, soldiers go home". This is the kind of logic that destroyed empires and nations time and time again.

Neither inspires much confidence. I would trust McCain woud lead me confidentely into a disaster of his choosing. I do not know where Obama would lead me.

Obama thinks too much, McCain not at all. Pragmatic and unsure vs careless and arrogant. A leader needs good command of why he wages war and to what practical outcome, McCain's view of a "transcendental" conflict is not that. I'll gamble with Obama since he will most likely differ to others anyway..

Unknown. The reason is that McCain had NO real leadership experience in the military. He was briefly in command at a state-side training facility. It is estimated that as a pilot he had 20 hours or less "combat experience" (that refers to time over enemy territory).

I'm sure everyone here has noticed that Gen. Wesley Clark was seen as a villain when he said that McCain being a POW and a pilot does not mean, in its self, that he is ready to be Commander-in-Chief. Perhaps McCain IS ready for that position, but not because of anything he did in the military.

McCain says in his books that he spent 4 out of his 5 1/2 years as POW in solitary. That also is not, IN ITS SELF, a qualification to be Commander-in-Chief. The fact is that neither candidate has military command experience.

On the other hand, McCain has a very short and explosive temper. He believes that we would do well to continue to occupy Iraq in the manner we occupy South Korea. That's the antiquated politics of the Cold War.

The fact that McCain accuses Obama of "appeasement" and weakness because he says he would negotiate with our "enemies" is full of problems... He's lucky that Nixon and Kissinger negotiated with his enemies....

Unknown. the explanation is that McCain had NO genuine management adventure interior the protection tension. He became quickly in command at a state-area preparation facility. it is envisioned that as a pilot he had 20 hours or much less "try against adventure" (that refers to time over enemy territory). i'm specific each and every physique right here has observed that Gen. Wesley Clark became seen as a villain while he reported that McCain being a POW and a pilot does no longer recommend, in its self, that he's in a position to be Commander-in-chief. consistent with possibility McCain is waiting for that place, yet no longer using fact of something he did interior the protection tension. McCain says in his books that he spent 4 out of his 5 a million/2 years as POW in solitary. it incredibly is likewise no longer, IN ITS SELF, a qualification to be Commander-in-chief. in certainty that neither candidate has protection tension command adventure. on the different hand, McCain has an fairly short and explosive temper. He believes that we ought to do properly to proceed to occupy Iraq interior the way we occupy South Korea. it incredibly is the antiquated politics of the chilly conflict. the certainty that McCain accuses Obama of "appeasement" and weak point using fact he says he might negotiate with our "enemies" is full of issues... he's fortunate that Nixon and Kissinger negotiated along with his enemies....

Well, after watching Obama and his meetings with leaders in Afghanistan and Iraq, and cringing at McCain's reference to the "Iraq/Afghanistan border" this weekend (the closest that the 2 countries come is about 750 miles) I'm ready to throw down with Obama as the most "presidential" candidate going. And that INCLUDES G W Bush.

Add to that Obama's position on Afghanistan -- we should never have lost focus there and would probably be victorious now if we hadn't blundered into Iraq -- and the deal is pretty much complete.

Obama, he does not show the insecurity McCain shows which the enemy can sense. I am not looking for a commander in chief, leader, or a father figure that knows best, I am looking for a representative of the people`s will.

McCain has military experience, but that doesn't always mean anything. Bush supposedly has military experience, making sure the Viet Cong didn't invade Texas during the Vietnam War. :)

Uhh. It really depends on how you feel about things like the economy, the war, national defense, health care, etc. I can't really tell you which to support, although I'm an Obama man. I can't say I'm in love with the way he's been acting recently though, heading to the center.

McCain was a traitor and collaborated with the enemy for 5 years; a cockroach would be a better Commander-in-Chief.

This world needs a community organizer now . Obama is smart ,concerned and really does his home work. The more I read about him and see what he is actually doing -the more impressed I am by him. He will be a great President.
