2008-01-04 09:46:50 UTC
Four months ago you guys lost control of six nuclear weapons. Now your F-15s are grounded and Canada has to use its planes to guard Alaskan air space. The American Air Force can't even guard its own country. What will you do to us next?

There is no conformation that all the F-15s have been grounded. Though yes, the Canadian have greatly decided to help cover our Alaskan air space, it is not to say that there are not other aircrafts that we currently have up there.

As far as the weapons go, it is under much investigations and will be settled in the best manger possible.

With election going on, there will be delays, however the Air Force is doing the best it can and will serve up to it's core values.

N O, For your information, the United States Air Force has many more planes that will take the place of the F-15s. The USAF is still guarding the skies of North America as we speak!!!!!!!!!The USA IS NOT going to do anything to Canada!!!

The Air Force did not lose control of the nukes; they just went for an authorized flight across the country. The chain of command for that unit was relieved of duty the problem correct. Also, there was no chance of the nukes being launched while in flight.

As far as the F15 issue and protecting the airspace, there are other aircraft to patrol the airspace. In addition, NORAD, which includes Canada, has a responsibility to jointly patrol the skies over North America. In the mean time, we Americans will do our best to protect you Canadians from the immigration push coming from Mexico and South America. Also, we haven’t done anything to y’all, so your question is not really a valid one.

first off control of nuclear weapons was not what you would call lost. they were on US planes and never left the country. The F 15 is not the first aircraft that has been taken off flight for safety reasons until some problem has been fixed. It has happened with civilian aircraft also. would you rather see pilots and aircraft lost by continuing to fly or have them puled off line for a time.

as far as Canadian aircraft go the snowbirds were pulled off line for a period of time until they could determine why one crashed in Montana. If there was a major problem with the Air Force F 15 other type aircraft would take there place or an aircraft carrier would be deployed to cover the area.

John R nailed this one on the head.

John A... yeah, we did ground our F-15s...its been on TV and the newspaper and the Air Force Times. Try and keep up.

Its better to ground an unsafe fleet than to fly them and hope for the best. The F-15 isn't the only plane we have.

yes its true about nukes, but we didnt loost them like some said just flew over the country but learn from mistakes and wont happen again. and with the f-15s do u have ANY idea how old these jets are? why the hell do you think we are tryin to modernize with the new f-22s and fa-35s? except one problem. NO FREAKIN MONEY toys are expensive, cutting 5000 people for one jet. but screw you foreigner, attack us and see if we cant guard our country

If I remember correctly, Canada cannot even build air craft for it's own Air Force and has to beg the Americans to sell them fighters.

Now thats the pot calling the kettle black.

Don't worry y'all. He's just pi**ed because his Defense Forces are pansies and every war Canada has taken part in they've had to "tag along" with us to.

Tell ya what, you can start whining when your country has won a war that's made a significant impact on world history.

'Till then shut your gravy fries hole!

I ponder how you came upon information such as this. If what you say is true, then it would be classified top secret, especially losing 6 nukes, and you would have no chance in hell of ever verifying your claims.

But, judging from your name, roswell, I guess you do not believe in verification of facts. The government is nothing but one big conspiracy.

So Canada is now complaining about having to actually contribute something to the NORAD alliance.
