Hey...whats up

I would be have an aerial and artillery shelling on Hawaii for about 2 weeks, and during that time. After the first 10 minutes of bombardment of Hawaii the operation to invade the mainland U.S. would begin.
1st FRONT- Pacific Northwest and Great Plains
Invade 500,000 men at San Jose and aerial attack and bombardment of San Francisco with battleships and destroyers supported with 3 carriers of air support. The men push toward and take over S.F. and Oakland, then split up into two task forces of 250K each. One going across California ,towards Reno and another pushing north towards Seattle. The one towards Seattle would then push across the Canadian-US border gobbling up Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. The other task force near Reno would push across the middle of the US, to take Utah, Colorado, and Nebraska.
2nd Front- Southwest
Have an aerial bombardment of Los Angeles and San Diego,(mostly battleships and destroyers shelling L.A., and 3 carriers and some battleships to attack San Diego). And land 1,000,000 men at Santa Barbara to take L.A. and San Diego. After that push into the Southwest in Arizona and New Mexico. I would also have 250,000 covering the right flank which lands in Baja California to help push towards Texas. (Baja would be easy going because during the 40s nothing was there).
I think the bombardment of the heavy industries in LA and SF would help in my invasion plan and if my armies spend too much time in the cities we could just bypass it and shell it.
With the element of suprise, and remember the U.S. was not at ALL prepared to wage war, I think the Japs could have past the Rockies in a about a month. But I think the plan would probably eventually fail because of overstretched resources. The Japanese could have easily invaded the mainland US but they would only be there for only 6 months or so until we kicked them out.
What would your perfect WW2 invasion plan be?
