You want Financial Management/Logistics(Supply).....

If you don't already have a degree, consider the BDCP, there is information at the link directly above, and nrotc. Scroll down at the following link to "Naval Science" for a description of available nrotc courses and scholarships:

http://sis.berkeley.edu/catalog/gcc_view_req?p_dept_cd=NAV+SCI

If you are beginning at a junior college, nrotc usually is not available, but wherever you begin be sure to complete the fafsa so that the school can make an offer of financial aid. Often very expensive private universities turn out being less than low cost public colleges:

http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

If you meet the academic qualifications you could start at nmmi. The total cost even out of state is less than many public colleges charge for dorms, then after two years transfer to a university with an nrotc battalion or utilize BDCP at a university without an nrotc battalion. The nmmi experience will help in winning an nrotc scholarship or BDCP:

And don't be persuaded by the chatter on here about how prior enlisted make the best officers. Only a small percentage of officers ever were enlisted, between about 5-12% depending on service branch. I think you will find that "best" in this sense does not include advancement within the officer ranks.

Good Luck!

In the Army, there are soldiers with the military occupational specialty (MOS) of Administration. As expected, these individuals work in the background, and although may be deployed, have a lesser potential of harm. I am sure the Navy would have a counterpart as each branch is self-sufficient and requires management beyond the front line, for example, fiscally.

However, I would contact a Navy recruiter to find an applicable MOS/rating.

Also as a word of caution, many of these jobs are not being employed to soldiers as much as they are now converting to the civilian sector. You can work as a civilian in the military during such an occupation. If that is of interest, I would check out USAJOBS.gov

Administration and Management are two separate things !!

Now, if you want to have some training in Business / Office Administration, there are two enlisted ratings: Yeoman, and Personnel Specialist... these folks function as secretaries, Administrative Assistants, Human Resource Clerks, Pay Clerks, etc.

Management falls to SENIOR Enlisted and to Officers selected for Administrative duties (120X An RL Officer specializing in Human Resources).

You can also obviously make use of the Navy's fine programs for education: After I completed my B.A. in History, I knocked out an MBA thanks to tuition assistance and correspondence courses.

GOOD LUCK !!

There is nothing like bussines admin. in the US forces. But you can study with your benefits, and incluide the leadership experience in your resume and it will help you a lot.
