Question:
Are prescription medicines allowed at Navy basic training?

Please read all of it, no bs answers. I just asked this question and I m getting a lot of stupid responses saying I'm faking and BSing because I want out. Basically when I sweat I break out in hives and itch. I signed up in April and this started happening in July. The condition is called cholinergic urticaria and you get it randomly when you're a young adult. I m asking this question again to show a picture of what it is om me so people know what happens and don't assume The picture was after a late night run and I didn't sweat as much because the sun wasn't out so I didn't sweat so much so it wasn't as bad that time. It gets bad around my abdomen, neck, and arms. My recruiter saw it happen first hand at a DEP meeting so he knows about it but told me to just keep exercising to see if it stops. Basically prescription allergy medicine (antihistamine) is the only thing that helps which I already take.
Can I take a note from my doctor to basic and get it there? Also it isn't just when I excerice. I just left a football game and I was in the stands sweating (i have cold sweats right now because I'm sick) and it happened then. If you still think I'm BSing you can DM me on Twitter or insta for more pictures since I can only post one here.

the ONLY medicines allowed are Birth Control and hypothyroid meds. NOTHING else.

has the condition been OFFICIALLY reported on your enlistment package because it is a DQ and you require a waiver.

if you got Sick call while in, you will most likely be booted out, possibly under fraudulent enlistment.

The real question is, what happens if you don't have the medicine? If it gets so bad you are incapacitated then you get sent home.
