another hot 11 11 2010 in Australia but i put on my suite tie and Medals attended the Memorial ln my home town



and another Year when i Notice the Older Veterans Missing so sad



Lest we Forget



11/11 is Not australias Biggest Memorial day Anzac day is and there are Parades in all our towns and Giant Parades in Big cities Like Sydney where we have flags of all our allies and Friends who have Fought with us in all wars Like the US Flag the German Flag the Russian Flag and the Japanese Flag to Name a Few It is Non Political and it is to remember the Fallen



I always go to the Dawn Service



and when i see the Stars and Stripes i am reminded of the 3 Eagle Squadrons part of the RAF who in 1940 240 Americans helped save my life In the battle of Britian and agree with them "If it be a Short life make it a Merry one"

First I thank them all for their sacrifice. Happy veterans day men and women! I also will be thinking of my husband. He was in vietnam and I lost him he was 100% disabled and finally past away in 2000. RIP Jim thank you. Also my son who joined up after 9/11. and went to iraq in 2003/2004.

I am currently in afghanistan, there are veterans all around, which one do i choose :)
