When my boyfriend left for Army BCT it took 3 1/2 weeks to get my first letter from him..but he got to call me once before i got the letter..He couldnt write lot because he didnt have time...and marines are teice as busy so dont get discouraged...also he'll probably be calling from random numbers so pick them up..because i missed his first call 2 weeks in because i didnt recognize the number then i heard the messages and of course couldnt call back and i was kickin myself in the butt 4 a week till he got to call again

stay remote from stupid rumors that are flying at residing house. do no longer provide out information no count if it rather is of a hurtful nature, which includes information some female he likes going out with somebody else till he asks first concerning to the situation. do no longer communicate politics in a unfavourable way concerning to the conflict on Terror, because he's maximum probable to have confidence very strongly interior the job he's doing there and is proud to be of provider.

I'd say 2-3 weeks. The first few weeks the recruits are getting through receiving, getting shots, medical, dental.. all that stuff is taken care of first. But, the recruits are given time every evening to write letters, shine their brass, study..etc. It won't be until their actual training starts they'll be settled in enough to write friends.

It's not like they have a lot of free-time in Marine Boot. Don't be surprised if you don't get any letters for a couple weeks. he's busy, I assure you.
