Question:
How sound is it to build a "defensive" missile system in Poland if it can be the cause for the WWIII?

Last Thursday the United States and Poland signed a formal agreement on the deployment of 10 interceptor missiles on Polish soil.
Moscow has consistently expressed its opposition to the U.S. missile shield, saying it threatens its national security.

doesn't such a plan suppose to defend us and our allies? but isn't it creating war for us and our allies instead?
isn't this contradictory?
does this make any sense at all?

No, it doesn't make any sense, although the US has for many year been expanding it's control into eastern europe. The US. seeks world domination and so if it can ever mass enough firepower to render the Russian defenses useless, then the Russians will have to obey.

Also Bush hopes we will turn to the War-hero McSame to save us from the new Russian threat (which we created)

It is a major mistake. As a Pole I feel that the Polish Government has exposed us to be a target for any attacks. Poland should maintain a neutral policy and not become a stooge for Bush's war. Already Polish troops are being killed in Afghanistan for nothing. Bush is so contemptuous that he refuses to give preferential visas as he does with the rest of Western Europe.Indeed these missiles are a provocation and could trigger a World War

This may well not be to the liking of many but it may shed a little light on the subject.
