coming from a book written from a delta operator. 70% started there career in the 75th ranger regiment.

If you dont know already Delta is not a unit you can go into right off the bat. it takes YEARS of being in a special ops unit before you can apply.

what you need to do is focus on choosing either Special Forces (green berets) or the Army Rangers. be one of those. then after being in there along time apply for delta selection. remember delta operators are not young. there in there 40's.

Best bet. figure out weither ot not you want to be a ranger or a green beret.

Rangers- direct action door kicking. but work in company sized ops. meaning there not that elite.

Green berets (SF)- there job is to go behind enemy lines and train rebels. they have 6 difer missions but thats what they were made to do. more elite then rangers but with less action.

.

Join the army. make your contract a SUPER long time like 15 years. Join a special ops unit. stay in the career for YEARS (no easy task)

then go to delta selection. where they choose who is the best. and make it.

The likelihood of you becoming a Delta Force person is smaller than the likelihood of you becoming an astronaut. And NASA doesn't even have working Space Shuttles ANY MORE!!!

Yeah, it's possible...but it's like wanting to become President of the US. Not too many people can actually do it or get the chance to.

@ Jonah

I'm not Miss Rain on Anyone's Parade just cause i'm a b*tch...but what he's asking for is VERY hard to do. You guys play Call of Duty and think it's the easiest thing to do in the world. It's not. Find out if you can even graduate BCT first.

Man don't listen to Hayley sounds like you got a plan and a goal. If you set your mind to it you can do whatever you want. But it sounds like you already got a good plan. Keep doin what your doing train hard but most importantally study hard because to be an operator you have to be extremely smart

Best of luck to you

Sounds like you have a plan. Don't ignore the intellectual side of your growth. Good luck.
