Navy email address only. The ship's computers will block out the other email sites. All incoming and outgoing email is subject to screening.

They have Navy email adresses that they use. They can communicate with there family's or whoever. Now don't be all upset that they can't access regular email, Surface guys and gal's have it quite good considering they have way more time on deployments that they have reception to email back and forth. When my father is on deployments on Submarines somtimes it can be 2-4 weeks before we get a reply. And it is sometimes even longer if they are out on an Operation.

I first signed up for gmail. Hated it. Then I signed up for Yahoo, it became severe-high quality... yet I sigend in for Gmail back, and it became quite severe-high quality. i surely cherished it. I kinda even regreted making the only on Yahoo, yet you recognize... in spite of the fact that. So, i might say Gmail. that's elementary, prepared, you will detect each and everything speedy, additionally speedy, and endless potential. that's my widespread. yet Yahoo is physically powerful too. Hotmail >> sucks.

I do believe that unless they are close enough to shore to get a wireless signal the only way would be his Navy Email. Give that a shot with your message. If he has a familiy issue the Red Cross will take care of notification.

He will have his Navy email account that he can receive emails with. For having access to MySpace, Hotmail, Yahoo, Facebook it will actually depend on the CO of the ship. Some will allow it and others will not. Several friends are currently deployed on different ships in different locations and one does have access to Facebook, yahoo, etc... and the other two do not. So you can attempt to send it to his regular email and if you don't hear back from him then he is on restriction for websites he can access until he reaches port where he would.
