Question:
Boot Camp Graduation?
2008-05-16 12:32:59 UTC
How many family and friends can you invite to your boot cmap graduation.
It seems I now have 10 people who have stated they want to go, and why they should go over someone else.
I am going to assume 10 is alot. Does anyone who has finished boot camp, know the numbers?

I dont think there is a number and it might depend on what branch it is! My husband had about 20 family members attend his Air Force graduation. He sent out 2 actual invitations and everyone else has to get a visitors pass. You will need to make sure that whoever gets the invitation can pass that information onto the people not getting a invite. I would suggest one person with an invitation go to the visitors center with those w/out one Good Luck!

The more the marrier, as long as they can find hotel rooms and afford the trip, it definately helps you out to see as much family and its a nice pleasant feeling to see your Drill instructors meet your family and things, so 10 is good but triple it lol. If there was a limit of people you could invite, your drill instructors wouldve told you,

I didn't see anyone cry at all. A couple of the wives meeting their husbands almost looked like they were about to, though. If anything, I just grinned and felt it was more of a relief than a joy. I could finally return home and sleep in, watch TV and laze around.

There's no limit on how many people can come to watch you. Plus, they don't check to see which people are watching a certain person graduate.

No, ten is not too many.

That's funny Glenn......just focus on your boot camp for now and it will all sort itself out in the end. Good Luck!

i dont believe it is an issue. you will get issued however many parking passes when you get close to graduation. so you should arrange people to carpool as much as possible.

if outside no limit, if inside it'll be limited to immediate family only at least that's how it is at Parris Island.

money and time is the deciding factor, not the military. If you want 100, invite 100, they are all welcome and there will be room for them.
