Is the USA taking a close look at china? Two of our presidents help bring china to what it is today.....Is the usa taking note of what is happening? or what china is preparing for ? Advice your politicians who have lost a sense of reasoning and those who are being fearful. China can hit us and hit us bad. Stop looking at North Korea...and study china....

Actaully we have been and are watching china very closely. There is a common misconception that if the newspapers aren't talking about it then the government doesn't know about it. Most of what the Media goes on a rant about is old hat. When you look at declassified documents from the military from decades back you will notice that we are genrally always a couple jumps ahead of what the average citizen realises. In fact there is some fellow in the military who's whole job is also to wonder about what could drive France to being an enemy, or England etc. We even have various long term scenarous drawn up about how climate changes may affect the geopolitical balance and what wars may come about because of a drop or rise in temp. The good news is that no China can not really hurt us. China has a large population but most of the country is very under developed. They have nukes but their ability to get them to us is extremely questionable. They have a high compacity for production but most of it is very centralized which makes it an easy target for us. Their technology is far enough behind us that their superior numbers means very little. We faught china during the Korean war and killed aproximately 1 million. Also at the moment tey lack a Navy sufficient to mount any form of atack on the US. In fact that is the reason that while even though they occasionally rant about military action on Taiwan, American investors still through cash at Taiwan without fear of losing their investment if China invades. Because even though China is a stones throw away from Taiwan they lack the naval capacity to move their mssive military. Last but not least there is one very large reason we have very little to fear from china (at least in the near future) which is that we are their second largest trading partner after Japan. Their economy depends on us. Thier leader's love spitting out rhetoric to their people, and often openly lmbast both us and Japan, as well as capatilism. However behind closed doors their leaders show much better forethought. Despite their rants almost all of their trade is with the two countries they complain the most about. They, unbeknownst to their people, alllow capatilist investors to help with their infastructure; and when Hong Kong was turned over to them from Britian rather then forcing the island under the yoke of socialist rule they instead allowed Hong Kong to operate almopst identically to the way it had under British rule. In fact if they ever did try and wrestle back Taiwan they would most likely allow it to remain an autonomous nation much like Hong Kong. North Korea however..the problem there is not so much that we fear Korea atacking us. That would be suicide. Our concern is that they may sell nuclear weapons to unaffiliated militant groups. In fact North Korea's biggest export is missles. China is much less likely to go that route since geopolitical stability assists them. They also saw the fall of the USSR and remember the help of the US in ww2. That is perhaps why they haveso heavily supported the United States with their talks with Korea.

The US is well aware of chinas capabilities and shortcomings the thing is that china has the biggest production industry in the world and the US is the biggest consumer in the world so why would china strike its main source of income.

China is an emerging superpower and the U.S are very fearful of losing their status, so they are keeping a very close eye on China.
