As soon as you log into the AKO account, it will go to the soldier's main page. Look all the way to the right and about midway to the bottom of the page. There should be a few links, and one of them will say "View My ERB". Click on that. The next page may ask you to log in again, or it will have another link saying "View My ERB".

However, if your husband is in BCT or AIT right now, this stuff might not be on there yet. That is because his AKO account still lists him as a "recruit" or is not fully "activated" yet. That was what the situation with mine when I was doing my training. I had to wait till I got out and had to contact my recruiter to help me with fully activating my AKO account.

Another thing, the ERB is not going to show where he is going. The ERB just shows things that are on his file as of right now. Like it will only show the units that he has been in so far, and the unit that he is in now. When he gets to his duty station and signs in there and gets done with his paperwork at his battalion level S-1, it will show up on there as the unit that he is presently with. It does not show where he will be going.

There is another thign to look at that MIGHT have it on there. When you log into the AKO and look to the right and midway to the bottom, there should be a link that is called ASK (Assignment Satisfaction Key). Click on that, and then at the top of the page there will be a row of links, one of which being "Assignments". Click on that. It may or may not say on there which unit he is going to. A lot of guys that I was in training with looked on there and it told them where they were going to be going. But others, like me, didn't have it listed on there.

On top of all that, there is no for sure way of telling where he will be getting stationed at until he comes down on his orders. If he is in training righ tnow, the drills will let him know towards the end of the training when the orders come in. If he is overseas right now, then he will get an email telling him that he is going to be assigned somewhere else.

Good luck with it all..

Army Hrc Portal

You can get to your ERB one of two ways one is through AKO it's on the right hand side or you can go to the HRC portal at https://www.hrc.army.mil/portal/default.aspx and it is listed there. The HRC link in my opinion works better, is more reliable and is just easier but that is just my opinion after years of dealing with AKO.

His projected assignment WILL be listed there IF its been handed down by HRC but until he has paper orders in hand they are still no more official then what is on ASK is.

To get to ASK you go to Either AKO or again the HRC portal and log in the link to ASK is on the right hand side of both places.

You are NOT authorized to use your brother's AKO account. Just doing so can get you AND him in trouble, if he let you and is found out. That is a violation of the site.

After you log in, on the right side you can see the link for ERB under the section Army Links.

Once logged in, on the right hand side, the link for ERB is second to last in the section marked with the heading: "Army Links", directly above the link to MyPay. 'Army links' is the fourth box down on the far right hand side of the page.

Talk to his recruiter. Depending on what was in his enlistment contract, he may not be assigned a duty station until he graduates. If he enlisted for certain units, then you should know where he will be stationed. For example, if he enlisted to join the paratroopers, he's going to Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. Talk to your husband and his recruiter to find out, so you can start making plans.
